Evaluation
Because every dog, human, living situation and relationship is different, Brandon evaluates each dog individually. He will determine what kind of aggression your dog is showing - if it is fear, dominance, sub-dominance, or if your dog is multi-layered. He will also determine if there is a genetic pre-disposition to be a certain way that is contributing to the behavior. How you live with your dog and what you do with them will be addressed by Brandon, and he will explain what that looks like from the dog’s perspective. Determining whether your dog is an alpha, a beta, a subordinate, or an omega, whether it is mentally submissive or dominant and physically submissive or dominant, will also be assessed.
The evaluation you receive from Brandon is thorough, and he will help you understand what you and your dog need to move forward. He will give you a plan of action specific to your needs, with his support, at the end of the evaluation process.
Rehabilitation
After the evaluation, Brandon may determine that your dog would be a candidate for a full rehabilitation. If that is the case, your dog would stay with Brandon for a period of time, the length of which depends upon the problems your dog is having. Your dog will stay at the facility with Brandon's pack and Brandon will work through the behavioral issues. This program is tailored specifically to your needs. At the end of the rehabilitation period, you will meet with Brandon, be reintroduced to your dog and given the tools necessary to keep the rehabilitation going.
Phone Consultation
You may have a situation that can be resolved with a phone consultation. Brandon will speak with you via phone and gather the information he needs to help you understand the reasons for your dog's behavior. He will give you things to do, and guide you through the process with daily phone follow up for a week. This service is also available to clients unable to travel to his facility, and for clients who live out of state or out of the country.
Where to begin
Please fill out a form here for your dog. This form is the first step in working with The Fouche Way. Please explain issues as detailed as possible. If you have more than one dog, please include information and pictures for all of them. When we receive the form, Brandon's assistant Cathy will contact you to discuss how Brandon can help, what the process looks like for your dog, and the cost. We do our best to respond within 24 hours of receiving your information. If you do not receive a call, please contact Brandon at (323)228-4175. We look forward to speaking with you!
